15th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts
In June 2025, the Shanghai Art Collection Museum plans to organize the 15th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts and the 13th International (Shanghai) Forum on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, under the theme “Harmony in Diversity,” in collaboration with relevant institutions. The aim is to showcase the rich cultural diversity of various nations and regions while promoting the exchange of experiences in the protection of intangible cultural heritage on a global scale.
The International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts has broad social impact and annually brings together participants from over 70 countries. The previous fourteen editions have received strong support from governments, industry organizations, and artists. More than 1,800 renowned artists and experts have taken part in the event.
The 13th International (Shanghai) Forum on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage will be held concurrently with the exhibition. Government officials, academic institutions, universities, and scholars will be invited to discuss the preservation, promotion, and transmission of intangible cultural heritage.
Protecting intangible cultural heritage breathes new life into traditional culture, highlights the diversity of human civilizations, and contributes to building a shared future for humanity. Harmony in diversity, the ability to appreciate the beauty of others, and to achieve global unity – this is our goal.
In the spirit of global friendship, despite differences in regional characteristics, cultural backgrounds, artistic styles, and methods, we as human beings all share the same desire – to preserve traditional cultures. Let us unite and work together toward this common goal!
It is an honor to be part of this initiative and to represent Slovak art.
